Leo B. Campos a Licensed Civil Engineer - Structural Consultant Specialist by profession, a Life Member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE No. 3977), and certified as Specialist in Construction Management and Engineering (CME Cert. No. 278 issued 29-May-2007) and in Structural Engineering (StE Cert. No. 112 issued 17-October-2008) and a Regular Member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP Cert. GEOTECHNICAL - ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
With our highly experienced professional staff of engineers, geologists, scientists, and technicians, Our Team performs wide range of geotechnical testing including standard penetration testing, as well as undisturbed ring sampling, vane shear testing, and cone penetrometer testing. Additionally, We also performs rock coring, including RQD testing, nuclear and cross-hole seismic testing.

Our experienced staff of engineers and geologists can perform Seismic Refraction Studies for difficult to reach and/or remote locations as a cost effective alternative to conventional drilling services. The seismic refraction method consists of measuring (at known points along the surface of the ground) the travel time of compression waves generated by an impulsive energy source. The energy source utilized consisted of a 12-pound sledgehammer, which was detected by 12 separate geophones, then amplified and recorded by a seismograph. Measurements of time and distance were recorded and plotted on a graph, from which the depth of various layers can be determined along with their individual velocities.
From the seismic wave velocities, our Engineers can extrapolate geotechnical design parameters such as dry density, angle of internal friction and soil cohesion. This method is especially useful in archaeologically and environmentally sensitive areas. Widely utilized by the Telecommunication Industry for monopole and lattice tower foundation design in elevated, mountainous areas; this method is also applicable to custom home and commercial structure foundation designs
